Hummingbird House sits 100 feet above sea level at Pigeon Point, English Harbour, catching the gentle and cooling trade winds breeze and enjoying magnificent views over Pigeon Beach and Falmouth Beach, out towards Montserrat and the Caribbean sea beyond.

Pigeon Point is a quiet and small, medium to high end residential community. Some houses are used as holiday villas, the others as permanent residences.

Set in almost an acre of tropical gardens and bordered to the south by the hills of the National Park, Hummingbird House is totally private, yet only a 3 min walk from idyllic Pigeon Beach.

To the Antigua Yacht Club Marina with its shops, supermarket, restaurants, bars, tennis courts, sailing operators and dive shops it's a mere 5 - 10 min walk. To historic Nelson's Dockyard with its museum, shops, restaurants, bank and post office it's also only a 5 - 10 min walk.

Hummingbird House is a spacious 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom villa on 2 levels with private pool, which has completed a major renovation in April 2010.

The original Hummingbird House was sold and the new owners with the help of renowned English architect Andrew Goodenough has been transformed to one of the most stunning high end villas in Antigua.

Hummingbird House is a wonderful blend of Colonial style with contemporary living. The house is kept in neutral colors, which creates a clean and relaxed feel.

The front door opens into an entrance hall with wide stairs leading up to the main living area, the verandah and the magnificent views of the bay beyond.

The main living space measures 40 ft x 20 ft with high vaulted ceiling, and includes living with comfortable sofas, indoor dining for up to 12 and an open plan kitchen with a breakfast bar for 5.

Also on the main upper floor you will find the master bedroom and one of the guest bedrooms.

4 sets of French doors open out onto the full length west-facing verandah, which offers comfortable outdoor seating for 10 as well as a breakfast table and chairs.  Off the verandah you will find a delightful gazebo, which provides the main outdoor dining area with a circular table for up to 12.

On the ground floor you have the remaining 3 guest bedrooms with their en suite bathrooms.

The large private pool (40 ft x 18 ft) with its 8 sun loungers plus 2 "steamer" chairs with 2 large parasols is located just down the steps off the gazebo.

Enjoy a sundowner on your west-facing pool deck, as the sun drops over Montserrat in the distance. Or relax on the verandah and watch the coming and going of some of the world's most luxurious yachts or simply the endless visits of hummingbirds and other tropical birds to the lush gardens.

Due to its proximity to the Falmouth and Antigua Yacht Club Marinas as well as Nelson's Dockyard and its flexibility regarding bedroom configuration Hummingbird House is the perfect rental villa for Antigua's main events, such as the Antigua Charter Yacht Show, Antigua Super Yacht Cup, the Caribbean 600 Race (RORC), Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta, and Antigua Sailing Week.
