An easy 3 minute stroll down the moderately
sloping private road takes you to the quarter mile,
white sand and palm-fringed Galleon Beach.
This beach, also known as Freeman's Bay, is
one of the most beautiful beaches in Antigua.
There are several fixed beach umbrellas.
Beach chairs are available free of cost through
the Galleon Beach Management.
Galleon Beach also offers good and safe
off-shore snorkeling. At the far end of the
bay
there is a reef, which attracts tropical fish.
Don't forget to pack your snorkel gear.
Alternatively you can rent one from Aquanaut
Divers in English Harbour.
Close to the
entrance of Galleon Beach there is a great Beach
bar / restaurant, called Calabash.

Location
Lime Hill was built high up into the lush
green hillside at idyllic Galleon
Beach in English Harbour, enjoying stunning
views of Freeman's Bay, historic Fort Berkeley
and the open sea. On clear days you can even see
the neighboring island of Montserrat.
A 3 minute stroll
down the hill takes you to the
quarter mile white sand beach with
crystal clear water for safe swimming and
good snorkeling.
The heart of English Harbour with its Dockside supermarket, restaurants, shops,
etc. is only a 5 minute drive away.

Villa walkthrough
What we
love most about Lime Hill? Its Infinity pool,
its layout so that all
bedrooms have ocean views and its wonderful
stonework patio, surrounded by mature tropical
plants.The
short, but steep driveway (a 4x4 is a must)
takes you to Lime's Hill parking area, which is
located beside the villa.
A few steps up and
through the arched entrance you reach the
villa's pool level with medium size infinity
pool and sundeck, complete with sun loungers and
an outdoor dining area for 8.
Also on this level
and accessed from here are Bedrooms # 3 and 4,
which both open up to the sundeck.
Some 20 steps up
the external double staircase takes you to Lime
Hill's main living level. The center piece is
the living room with integrated indoor dining
and adjoining open-plan kitchen. The glass
sliding doors on opposite sides do fully retract
and therefore open up the entire living / dining
area to the constant cooling sea breeze.
From your living
/ dining room you step right onto your walled
stonework back patio, which is perfect for outdoor
dining, entertaining and relaxing.
The Master
Bedroom and Guest Bedroom # 2 are also situated
on the upper main level. Both bedrooms open up to their
own, private balconies. A further highlight of
Lime Hill is the Master Bathroom's stonework
outdoor shower.
The furniture is
a mix of modern and Colonial style, which gives
Lime Hill a cozy and comfortable feel.
Lime Hill is
ideal for a group of friends as well as for
families with children. While it is more
suitable for older children, the villa has been
equipped with a baby cot, 2 small sofa-beds as
well as a safety railing for the upper level
staircase in order to also accommodate families
with younger children.
Good to know
!
If
you're only occupying 3 bedrooms, then the forth
bedroom can be used as an additional TV room.
