An easy 3 minute stroll down the gently
sloping private road takes you to the quarter mile,
white sand and palm-fringed Galleon Beach.
This beach, also known as Freeman's Bay, is
one of the most beautiful beaches in Antigua.
There are several fixed beach umbrellas.
Beach chairs are available free of cost through
the Galleon Beach Management.
Galleon Beach also offers good and safe
off-shore snorkeling. At the far end of the
bay
there is a reef, which attracts tropical fish.
Don't forget to pack your snorkel gear.
Alternatively you can rent one from Aquanaut
Divers in English Harbour.
Close to the
entrance of Galleon Beach there is a great Beach
bar / restaurant, called Calabash.

Location
From Hargate
Hill, which was built into
the lush green hillside at Galleon Beach,
you have stunning views of English Harbour, historic Fort
Berkely and the open Sea. On clear days you can
even see the neighboring island of Montserrat.
An easy 3
minute stroll from Hargate Hill takes you to the palm
fringed white sand beach with beach umbrellas and sun
loungers. The crystal clear water is perfect for safe swimming and good snorkeling.

drive away, you will find all the amenities that you need
for a perfect holiday:
a well-stocked supermarket, a good selection of fine
restaurants, coffee shops and trendy bars, bank, post office

Villa walkthrough
From the
4 bedroom villas at Galleon Beach Hargate Hill
is the one with the least steep driveway, the
biggest square footage and the largest sundeck.
The main living
level has an open-plan kitchen with adjoining
living room / TV lounge and integrated indoor
dining area. Also on this level you have 2
air-conditioned Master Bedrooms with their
ensuite bathrooms. All rooms on the main living
level have ocean views and direct access to the
verandah, which runs the entire length of the
villa.
On the verandah
you have your outdoor dining area, which is
protected from the sun. 2 steps down from your
covered verandah you have your large sundeck
with sun loungers, and medium-size private Pool.
There is also a pool shower and Gas BBQ Grill.
You reach the
lower garden level of Hargate Hill via the
internal staircase. On the garden level you have
the remaining 2 bedrooms. Both bedooms are
air-conditioned and have their ensuite
bathrooms.
Neutral colors
and traditional furniture give Hargate Hill a
cozy and comfortable atmosphere, while keeping
it light and airy.
Hargate Hill is
the ideal holiday villa for a family or group of friends.
