moderately sloping, private road to
white sand Long Bay Beach.
Long Bay Beach with its crystal clear waters is
one of the best beaches on the island.
Visitors to Long Bay rave about "Mama Pasta"

the Italian Restaurant
La Tartaruga on the beach.

Location
Villa H was built on a cliff at Dian Bay,
which is a very private, upscale residential
community near Long Bay
on the north-east coast.
The villa enjoys stunning views of turquoise-colored
Dian Bay, historic Devil's Bridge as well as the deep blue Atlantic.
White sand Long Bay with its superb
restaurants is only an 11 minute walk away from
Villa H.

Villa walkthrough
A
stone path through landscaped gardens leads you
from your private on-site parking area to Villa
H. This newly-built, classic Bauhaus
architecture residence with its flat roof and
smooth facade, painted in a medium grey, sits
unobtrusively in lush green surroundings. When
approaching the villa you get a first glimpse
and idea, what kind of view is expecting you.
You can see parts of the bay next to the villa,
and while coming closer you notice the large
windows, which allow you to look through the
open plan villa all the way to the bay beyond.
When you enter Villa H the view of the bay seems
to explode right in front of you. A window
front, 10 ft. high, floor to ceiling, wall to
wall opens up to the turquoise colored, crystal
clear bay below the villa.
With
3,500 sq.ft this 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa
offers large living spaces. The floor plan is
open. There are several built-in seating areas,
reaching from wall to wall or shaped as a large
U, covered with thick, comfy cushions. The large
kitchen enjoys great views of the lush green
garden as well as partial views of the bay,
thanks to cleverly placed partition walls.
Apart from a
few orange and turquoise splashes of colour, the
villa's main colours are warm hues of light and
medium greys, which dramatically enhance the
turquoise color of the sea below.
Villa
H with its sophisticated and elegant simplicity
shows how well Bauhaus architecture can work in
the Caribbean. It's an aesthetic villa, which
has stripped down all the unnecessary
knick-knacks to provide for a calm, relaxing and
peaceful atmosphere, where you can unwind and
recharge your batteries in stylish, yet
uncomplicated surroundings.
The master bedroom with
its ensuite open sky shower and open sky bathtub
enjoys ocean views and has its own private path
down to the bay. The guest bedroom with its ensuite open sky shower has direct access to the
garden.
There
is an indoor dining table for 6 as well as an
outdoor dining table on a covered ocean view
verandah. The covered verandah has been equipped
with roll down blinds to provide additional
shade, if desired. A few steps down from this
verandah you have 2 large sun beds, where you
can chill out and work on your Caribbean suntan.
Villa
H does not have a swimming pool, but we promise
- you won't miss it. An easy walk down the stone
steps built into the low cliff takes you to your
private sundeck with sun loungers right over the
bay. There is also a shower for rinsing off the
salt water or to cool you down, if you don't
wish to go for a quick swim. A few steps further
down from the sundeck you have your private
stone platform, which is at sea level. From here
you have easy access into the calm, shallow and
crystal clear bay with sandy bottom.
This
bay is not only great for swimming, but
also for snorkeling, as small tropical fish as well as
small sea turtles love this reef-protected bay.
