When built in the 90's, the concept of Jolly Harbour was to be a car-free community and to commute in golf carts instead. Accordingly the townhouse's driveways were built just large enough to fit golf carts. These days, residents of the townhouses are still encouraged to honor this policy, and to leave their cars in designated parking areas. However, small cars, which can fit in the driveway, are permitted. Therefore - if you wish to rent a car, a small vehicle will be your best choice.
